SUPPORTERS

In order to function, the YANA club naturally has expenses. These expenses include rent, utilities, insurance, literature, and other operating expenses.

YANA must take in funds adequate to cover these expenses. The club's revenues essentially come from the following sources:

  • Membership dues

  • Meetings

  • Donations

  • Fund-raising events

Supporters of the Yana club helps make it possible to provide space, events and fellowship for so many people in, and seeking recovery. By becoming a supporter and renewing your donation annually, you are engaging in service work. You are practicing the 12th Step by helping to carry the message to others in recovery and are freely giving back some of what you have been so freely given.

However, supporting the club is not required to attend meetings and events held at YANA. All are welcome!

In addition, supporters receive updated emails and are eligible to attend Board meetings and vote in YANA club elections beginning May 2022.

Alcoholics Anonymous does not finance or lend its name to any outside organizations. The YANA club is an outside organization, separate and distinct from AA, Alanon, or any other 12 Step group. Each meeting held at the club is conducted as an autonomous group, and each group makes contributions to YANA to help pay expenses. Rent from meetings covers only a small portion of YANA expenses.

You may pay your support dues by clicking on the "donate" button above or by mailing the completed membership form and a check made out to:

Newport County YANA Club, 770 Aquidneck Avenue, Middletown, RI 02842
